Our mentees are highly motivated individuals who want to improve their lives and want the help of a peer in their community. They have a sincere interest to make change and commit to meeting with their mentors for 1-2 hours per week. Our mentees are expected to give their goals a true effort and to be honest and fair to themselves, their mentors, and their community. A mentee's journey is not all work and no play. All mentees are invited and encouraged to attend special On Common Ground sponsored events throughout the year held just for mentors and mentees to enjoy!

The Matching Process
On Common Ground’s Mentor Center provides mentoring services to adults experiencing poverty in the Greater Attleboro Area. Mentors usually spend a couple of hours per week providing 1 : 1, hands-on assistance in the areas of budgeting, employment, education, coping skills, healthcare, and more. Every mentee will meet with the Menter Center Coordinator to begin the process of identifying their own goals for their future. The Mentor Center Coordinator considers the unique circumstances and experience of every match between a mentee and mentor to ensure the highest possible likelihood of success for that relationship to flourish.
We also conduct various social events throughout the year that are exclusive for mentors and mentees to enjoy! Past events include Paint Night and Trivia Night.
